This work-in-progress project merges my passion for Magic: The Gathering with Rebecca Yarros’s The Empyrean series.
Drawing inspiration from the book covers, I’ve reimagined the card backing on the left, while the right-hand image showcases a custom commander card. I’ve repurposed the details of an existing card, swapping out it's name and artwork for the series’ main character. My aim is to create original artwork for each of the book’s main characters and then custom print the complete set of cards.
